Alncom | Mountain Rescue 60th Anniversary | Ingram Valley

We were honored to support the Northumberland National Park Mountain Rescue Team (NNPMRT) as they celebrated an incredible milestone: 60 years of life-saving service in our region. On Sunday, May 17, volunteers returned to the Ingram Valley—the exact location where their training first began six decades ago—for a special public training and community celebration day.

The busy day kicked off with an important dementia training session delivered by DemNurse to help volunteers better support vulnerable individuals in the community. Throughout the rest of the event, the public got a front-row seat to modern mountain rescue operations, including simulated casualty rescues as well as a duck race to end the day.
